Guitar Virtuoso Joe Robinson Launches JOES12 | Premier Guitar
For more information about The Venue, please visit our website. Robinson started playing guitar at age nine and when he quickly outpaced his guitar instructor, began educating himself via the internet.
At age 11 he was a touring guitarist and at just 13 years old, he won the Australian National Songwriting Competition. Within a couple of years he was touring regularly and sharing stages with artists such as Tommy and Phil Emmanuel, both of whom served as mentors. Deciding that the well-worn paths that other musicians adhere to were not the proper routes for his own creativity, Chicago native Jim Green creates relaxing and reflective to exciting and percussively driven solo finger-style acoustic guitar instrumentals in a fresh and compelling way.

Influenced by many different genres such as Rock, Folk, New Age and World, he utilizes unusual guitar tunings while incorporating percussive rhythms, harmonics, and finger-tapping with a piano-like approach that is both musically and visually stimulating. Although Jim Green and has gained much interest for his unusual percussive playing style, he considers himself a songwriter first, a guitarist second. The techniques are not meant to be seen as tricks but instead, to be heard as an expression of emotional tone. Add to Calendar. View Map View Map. Find out more about how your privacy is protected.

Event description. Doors open at 7PM. Opening act at 8PM. JR: Yes. We do. If you take that one step further, maybe it is a step back, what it really boils down to, for anybody that has sold for a long time, is how do you listen well to your customers? As you are listening, not just thinking about the next transaction, but, thinking about everything they are saying.
What is the problem I can identify? How do I bring a solution to them that may include some of these other things? It could mean that I have to talk to another two or three constituent departments in the hospital that I never had to call on before. GT: You hear this term non-linear sales processes, you hear it a lot in technology. It sounds like it is alive and well in health care as well?
It is an ecosystem, and you have to be working the entire ecosystem. You have to become, really, a valued consultant and partner with the customer, and when you do that, you will be rewarded with the opportunity to solve a problem. JR: What I will tell you is that connectivity was a big deal starting about 20 years ago. What is the big deal now, is analytics. Analytics, and actionable analytics. Twenty years ago, it was connectivity.
Ten years ago, it was data. Everybody was talking about data. Now, people are drowning in data.
